Easter

I really need to get better at keeping up to date!
This Easter was really a lot of fun. D3 did not want to get out of bed but we finally coaxed her. Since we have 9am church we didn't have a lot of time. The kiddos got lot of goodies and even a new Wii game. For church they all put on their new Easter outfits and looked so good! After church we had another surprize. We went and picked up our new little puppy. Her name is Eva. She is Shitzu and Chihuahua. She is so sweet and we all fight over who gets to snuggle her next.

Washington DC

On April 2nd My mom, older sister and I flew out of the Salt Lake City airport heading towards Washington DC. The flight was about 4 hours long but was a nice smooth flight. Once at the Dulles airport My older brother picked us up. The next five days was was full of sight seeing, good food (most of the time), and lots of catching up. My brother moved to West Virginia last July for work. Him and his family our only living there for a year and then are coming back home. I am so excited for them to move back.
So anyways, went to see the Washington DC Temple (we were going to do a session but got sidetracked looking for some dinner. So we didn't get to go inside but we did get to walk around the grounds. It is a beautiful temple. Since we still hadn't eaten we finally found a mall and went inside to find something to eat. We all decided on an Italian restaurant. During dinner My Sis-in-law actually found a prechewed piece of gum in her dinner. We all pretty much lost our appatite. It was so nasty!
We also went to Arlington Cemetary, The Haloucost (yup, can't spell) Museum, The Museum of American History where we got to see the ruby red slippers from The Wizard of Oz. We saw the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, The White House, Union Station, The Capitol and the National Zoo. My favorite was the day we went to Gettysburg. I learned a lot there and found it all so interesting.
After long days of sightseeing we would return to my brothers house and eat and play 3's & 4's (a fun card game). The whole trip was so much. Thank you so much to my brother and sis-in-law for putting up with us and being out tour guides.

Birthday Party for a 7 Year old

D1 turns 7

Pinata Time!

All the party girls!

We told D1 that it was tradition for her to take the first bite of cake.

She wasn't expecting that!
My sweet D1 turned 7 years old this last weekend. She really wanted to have a birthday party with her friends. After discussing who all we would invite we decide on 7 girls. Only 2 girls actually made it beside her 2 sisters. I felt bad it wasn't the big extravaganza she had hoped for but we still had a lot fun. We designed our own princess crowns, played pin the horn to the unicorn, hit the pinata around for awhile, and of course had cake and ice cream. After all was said and done Morgan said she had a great time and really enjoyed her party.

Baptism Day!

DS was Baptized on March 7, 2009. It was a great day. The whole program went very well but I would have tosay my favorite part was when he sang "I Am A Child Of God" all by himself for the musical number. He did a great job and I was so proud of him. I am so thankful for all of the family that made it to share this special day with us. I love DS so much and am so glad for the choice he made to get Baptized.

11 Wonderful Years!

This Friday was Paul and mine 11 year anniversary. Other then the fact that our oldest is 8, it really doesn't feel like we have been married that long. These 11 years have really flown by. We decided to do a fun little trip to celebrate. So on Friday night Paul and I loaded onto a bus and took the 2 hour trip to Wendover. Our favorite part of going on the Wendover bus is the free buffet that you get. We spent about an hour and a half of shoving our faces full of yummy buttery crab, clams, shrimp and oober yummy cheesecake. After we gorged ourselves it was time to hit the floor. Paul likes black jack and I like the slot machines. So we split up for a little while, each doing our own thing. Then I went and sat down at a Black jack table with Paul. We have played this game at home and I never really enjoyed it. But I had a blast! I think I have changed my mind about black jack. Then Paul joined me on the machines. The night flew by and before we knew it, it was 2 am and time to get back on the bus to come home. We have been to Wendover several times but I seriously don't think I have ever had as much fun as I did that night.
I love my hubby so much and am so glad that he is all mine.

Day 5 - The Last Day :(

Since today was the last day of vacation we needed the breakfast of champions! And what is the breakfast of champions you may ask. Well, on this paticular day it was Cinnamon Rolls and Root Beer. Yup we got all sugared up before we were even out of our jammies!
This is my least favorite day of vacation. After breakfast we started packing up and cleaning our condo. We were out of their by about 11:30 am. I am already getting excited for next year. Next year will be a ton of fun Because My older bro and his wife will be there. They couldn't come this year and were very much missed.
See you next year!

Day 4

Crazy Girl!

Pretty Swimming Girl

Doesn't my siter look great! (Sorry, I couldn't help it)

Tubin'

'mobilen kids

Ok I am gonna try and finish this off since vacation has now been over for a week :(

This is always my favorite day of vacation. It is the snowmobile day. We always rent a couple machines from the local rental shop. This year we only got one becasue we were a little short on funds this year. I was a little bummed that I didn't my own, but I actually had a ton of fun. I went on one ride with just the girls (and two big brothers to make sure we didn't get lost or stuck). But for the most part I just sled. It was so much fun! I honestly can't remember the last time I just went sledding. It was such a thrill zooming down that big hill, head first. Each time down I would pray that I didn't crash but I would laugh the whole way down.

After our day playing in the snow all the adults went out to a steak dinner. The food wasn't very great but the company sure was. I love going out with my family. I love the stories and stupid laughs that we share.

When we got home from dinner all the kids were waiting for us with their swimsuits on. Hmmmm, what did they have planned? So of course we had another night of swimming.

This is DS snowboarding. He had never snowboarded before but just jumped on and flew down the hill. The only time ever crashed was at the bottom of the hill cuz he didn't know how to stop.

This is my sweet little baby sledding down this huge hill all by herself. She loved it! But she didn't like to go down with me cuz everytime we would crash.
