11 Wonderful Years!

This Friday was Paul and mine 11 year anniversary. Other then the fact that our oldest is 8, it really doesn't feel like we have been married that long. These 11 years have really flown by. We decided to do a fun little trip to celebrate. So on Friday night Paul and I loaded onto a bus and took the 2 hour trip to Wendover. Our favorite part of going on the Wendover bus is the free buffet that you get. We spent about an hour and a half of shoving our faces full of yummy buttery crab, clams, shrimp and oober yummy cheesecake. After we gorged ourselves it was time to hit the floor. Paul likes black jack and I like the slot machines. So we split up for a little while, each doing our own thing. Then I went and sat down at a Black jack table with Paul. We have played this game at home and I never really enjoyed it. But I had a blast! I think I have changed my mind about black jack. Then Paul joined me on the machines. The night flew by and before we knew it, it was 2 am and time to get back on the bus to come home. We have been to Wendover several times but I seriously don't think I have ever had as much fun as I did that night.
I love my hubby so much and am so glad that he is all mine.

Day 5 - The Last Day :(

Since today was the last day of vacation we needed the breakfast of champions! And what is the breakfast of champions you may ask. Well, on this paticular day it was Cinnamon Rolls and Root Beer. Yup we got all sugared up before we were even out of our jammies!

This is my least favorite day of vacation. After breakfast we started packing up and cleaning our condo. We were out of their by about 11:30 am. I am already getting excited for next year. Next year will be a ton of fun Because My older bro and his wife will be there. They couldn't come this year and were very much missed.

Ok I am gonna try and finish this off since vacation has now been over for a week :(

This is always my favorite day of vacation. It is the snowmobile day. We always rent a couple machines from the local rental shop. This year we only got one becasue we were a little short on funds this year. I was a little bummed that I didn't my own, but I actually had a ton of fun. I went on one ride with just the girls (and two big brothers to make sure we didn't get lost or stuck). But for the most part I just sled. It was so much fun! I honestly can't remember the last time I just went sledding. It was such a thrill zooming down that big hill, head first. Each time down I would pray that I didn't crash but I would laugh the whole way down.

After our day playing in the snow all the adults went out to a steak dinner. The food wasn't very great but the company sure was. I love going out with my family. I love the stories and stupid laughs that we share.

When we got home from dinner all the kids were waiting for us with their swimsuits on. Hmmmm, what did they have planned? So of course we had another night of swimming.

This is DS snowboarding. He had never snowboarded before but just jumped on and flew down the hill. The only time ever crashed was at the bottom of the hill cuz he didn't know how to stop.

This is my sweet little baby sledding down this huge hill all by herself. She loved it! But she didn't like to go down with me cuz everytime we would crash.

Day 3 was a lot like the first couple of days. We sled, we swam and we ates lots of food. Are you noticing a pattern here? This time we went to the big hill to sled. This hill is a ton of fun to slide down but it is deffinately a hike to come back up. I only went down twice because I am such a weenie.

After dinner we had a birthday party for 3 of the cousins who had a birthday all within a week of each other. It was really loud, and when I say really loud that doesn't even really say how loud it was. We had 3 yummy cakes, and a couple presents for each kid. It was a great party.

Day 2

I remember why I look forward to this vacation all year long. The day started out pretty lazy. I made pancakes for breakfast. Most everyone else ended up eating at our condo too. But the more the merrier!

Right behind the condos is a big hill that is perfect for sledding. It was a fun trip down but it was quite a hike up. Although if you were going too fast you had to make yourself crash because at the bottom of the hill the snow dropped off a couple feet and the snow began. Morgan flew off of it once and got some good air but had a pretty hard landing. Don't worry, she is ok. She stood uo laughing and we were all alughing as well.

Of course we had to go swimming again. Then we hung out, snacked some more, played games, and snacked some more. Brandy made a yummy dinner of meatloaf and probable some of the best oven potatoes I have ever had. After dinner everyone came to our condo and played Sing It on the Wii. Everyone was singing and we were all laughing so hard.

Vacation has finally begun!

Vacation time is finally here! We left our home a little after lunch on Wednesday and got to Bear Lake at about 5pm. Tracy and her family showed up about 7pm. After Tracy got here we ate some spagetti for dinner and then we all geared up and went swimming. We had a ton of fun swimming, but after our long day of traveling we all got pooped pretty quick so we only swan foir about an hour. We were going to get together after swimming to play games but since we were all so pooped we all jsut kinda did our own thing and went to bed.

Poor Liza got sick and threw up a couple times. So it turned out to be a long night.
