The Drive to Bear Lake

It is time again for our yearly trip to Bear Lake again.  YAY!!!  So yesterday we headed up the canyon.  It was pretty slow going because it was snowing and it didn't look like the plows had made it through in a while.  I was ok with it being slow becasue the scenery was soooo pretty! 

This next week is going to be so much fun.  We will be sledding, and riding snow machines and playing lots of games.  This is always our family's favorite time of year.

Project 365 (1-11)

My New Years resolution this year was to take 1 photo a day for a year. I debated with myself wether I wanted to have a little story or description with each picture. Well I decided that I am just going to have the picture tell the story. I am not very far into it and I am really enjoying myself so far. There have been a couple days where I have forgotten until close to bedtime so the picture is something quick or silly, but it is still me. I will try to keep everyone updated on my daily pictures so you can help keep me motivated and just for fun. I hope you enjoy!

Happy New Year!!!

I hope everyone out there in blogland had a wonderful and memorable New Year's Celebration! A lot of Paul's family got together last weekend and threw a big bash. Even his parents who live in Wyoming came down for the shindig.

I got put in charge of the snacks for the night. I was actually pretty excited to play caterer and it was pretty fun. This is just one of the tables of food. We also had more food and drinks piled on another table, the kitchen counters and the bar. It was tasty!

Aunt Melanie helped the girls make their own party hats. I thought they were pretty cute!

Me. This picture kind of cracks me up because of Allie's head poking out of my shoulder. We stayed up so late even my poor Eva was tired...see!

After the clock struck 12 we all found beds and floors to lay our sleepy heads. Then in the morning the partying started all over again (we still had lots of snacks to eat!)

OK, I know I am a little late and another holiday has passed since Christmas, but better late then never right!

We had a very good Christmas day. The little kids and the big kids all got what we wanted. My mom and sister came later in the afternoon and we played with some our new gifts and ate some really yummy homemade bread. (I got a breadmaker!) We are so thankful that we could spend the day together.
