Valentine's Massacre

A couple weeks ago I entered a contest at my favorite radio station 97.1 ZHT to get the chance to find a diamond ring in a cake.  I was pretty excited (and very nervouse too) when I got the email saying I had been picked!  We had to be at the Valley Fair Mall at 7 in the morning to check in.  This is the cake before.

On your mark, get set, GO!!

 Can you believe that there are 97 woman in this cake?  It was crazy and everyone was stepping on, pushing and shoving everyone else.

The dough was was extremely sticky and after so many hands and feet had squished through it, it was just like it went back to its doughy, uncooked form.

I did not win the diamond ring or any other prize for that matter, but I still had a lot of fun.

A Fun Sewing Day

A couple weekends ago my mom and my sisters got together for a fun sewing day.  Usually we do scrapbook days so it was a lot of fun to do something a little different.  Carla found a very cute pattern for a bag so we all decided to give it a go.  I jsut love all of the fabrics everyone picked out and all of the bags turned out sooo cute!

We had so much fun putting these bags together!  Afterwards Carla, my mom and I went to dinner at Red Lobster.  MMMMM  that was so yummy!!  My mom agreed!

Bear Lake

As always we had a ton of fun at Bear Lake.

Between all of the families we took close to 1000 pictures!  I am sure you don't want to look through that many pictures, but here are a couple of my favorites!

For some reason everyone thought it was really fun to go roll in the snow while they were all wet from swimming.  I did not think it looked fun, I thought they were just plum crazy!

We were there for a whole week and the time just flew by!  We love all of the time we get to spend with our extended family.  Now it is time to start planning for next year!

Well I have continued to stick with it.  I am finding it a lot harder then I thought it would but it is already so much fun to look back through the pictures.  I can't wait till I am all finished!!
