A couple weekends ago we got to go the Supercross race here in Salt Lake City. Hubby and Cam were very excited. I was excited just to get out of the house. We went with some good friends, Josh & Ashley Grant. The funny thing is one of the racer's name is Josh Grant. So of course we had to cheer for him. The races were a lot of fun and really loud.

Fishing on a Saturday
We recently got a new boat and we were all just itchin' to do some fishing. So we all loaded up on a Saturday morning and went to Rockport Reservoir. We kids all had a ton of fun. They took turns between fishing in the boat with Daddy and fishing from shore with me. We got a couple of bites but didn't catch anything. It was a little overcast that day so we just kept our fingers crossed for no rain. But right around lunch time the down pour started. We quickly loaded everything back in the truck and Paul drove the boat back to the boat ramp to load it up. Of course, as Murphy's Law states, as soon as we had the boat loaded and were ready to pull away the rain had stopped and there was beautiful blue sky over head. We talked about unloading everything, but then Morgan decided to throw up all over the back seat. So our decision was made. It was a fun little trip (except for the stinky ride home), and now we can't wait to get out there again and hopefully have some fish for dinner next time.

My 11 year anniversary was in February, and my wonderful hubby gave me a wonderful gift. He gave me Britney Spears tickets! But there was one stipulation, I had to take someone else. So I took my BFF Ashley. We had so much fun! We spent the whole night on our feet and singing at the top of our lungs. It was a great Anniversary gift!

Easter
This Easter was really a lot of fun. D3 did not want to get out of bed but we finally coaxed her. Since we have 9am church we didn't have a lot of time. The kiddos got lot of goodies and even a new Wii game. For church they all put on their new Easter outfits and looked so good! After church we had another surprize. We went and picked up our new little puppy. Her name is Eva. She is Shitzu and Chihuahua. She is so sweet and we all fight over who gets to snuggle her next.

Washington DC
On April 2nd My mom, older sister and I flew out of the Salt Lake City airport heading towards Washington DC. The flight was about 4 hours long but was a nice smooth flight. Once at the Dulles airport My older brother picked us up. The next five days was was full of sight seeing, good food (most of the time), and lots of catching up. My brother moved to West Virginia last July for work. Him and his family our only living there for a year and then are coming back home. I am so excited for them to move back.
So anyways, went to see the Washington DC Temple (we were going to do a session but got sidetracked looking for some dinner. So we didn't get to go inside but we did get to walk around the grounds. It is a beautiful temple. Since we still hadn't eaten we finally found a mall and went inside to find something to eat. We all decided on an Italian restaurant. During dinner My Sis-in-law actually found a prechewed piece of gum in her dinner. We all pretty much lost our appatite. It was so nasty!
We also went to Arlington Cemetary, The Haloucost (yup, can't spell) Museum, The Museum of American History where we got to see the ruby red slippers from The Wizard of Oz. We saw the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, The White House, Union Station, The Capitol and the National Zoo. My favorite was the day we went to Gettysburg. I learned a lot there and found it all so interesting.
After long days of sightseeing we would return to my brothers house and eat and play 3's & 4's (a fun card game). The whole trip was so much. Thank you so much to my brother and sis-in-law for putting up with us and being out tour guides.

Birthday Party for a 7 Year old
D1 turns 7
All the party girls!
We told D1 that it was tradition for her to take the first bite of cake.
My sweet D1 turned 7 years old this last weekend. She really wanted to have a birthday party with her friends. After discussing who all we would invite we decide on 7 girls. Only 2 girls actually made it beside her 2 sisters. I felt bad it wasn't the big extravaganza she had hoped for but we still had a lot fun. We designed our own princess crowns, played pin the horn to the unicorn, hit the pinata around for awhile, and of course had cake and ice cream. After all was said and done Morgan said she had a great time and really enjoyed her party.

Baptism Day!
DS was Baptized on March 7, 2009. It was a great day. The whole program went very well but I would have tosay my favorite part was when he sang "I Am A Child Of God" all by himself for the musical number. He did a great job and I was so proud of him. I am so thankful for all of the family that made it to share this special day with us. I love DS so much and am so glad for the choice he made to get Baptized.
