Every year for Christmas we have some kind advent calander so we can count down to Christmas. It has usually been the cheap ones at the store that have the doors and behind it is a nasty chocolate. This year I decided to make advent boxes and then we could choose the candy that we put in them plus we could use them year after year. The kdis had a blast decorating their own boxes however they wanted. After they finished they got to eat their first piece of candy. (We started on Nov 30 so the last piece would be on Christmas Eve)

What?!?! You don't do streamers?? We HAD to do streamers because that's what you guys did when you were growing up, or so I was told! Aparently someone in my family just can't let that tradition die!
