Photo Shoot

A couple weeks ago we were at a ward Scout Party and I decided to pull the kids off a take a couple pictures of them.  I love photography and have a secret desire to become a professional photographer.  I have a done a little studying and reading on my own but have yet to take any classes or anything.  I was pretty impressed with my results!!

Morgan's Baptism

Saturday April 10, 2010 started off pretty rough for Morgan. Starting the night before at about 3am she started throwing up. She threw up about 4 more times during the night before 8am. I felt horrible for her and wasn't quite sure what to do. It was her Baptism Day! Family had driven down from Wyoming for the event and even more family was coming from all over Utah. We decided to carry on and just hoped that Morgan would start to feel better.

She continued to get sick throughout the morning but her belly was so empty that she never produced anything.  The worst part for me was braiding her hair as she hunched over the toilet.  I felt so bad for her.

Once we got to the church she was acting like she was feeling better.  She had a big smile on her face and was very excited that she was getting baptized.

She made it!  She didn't get sick again at all during her baptism!  The day turned out to be a great day!

After the baptism we had a lunch in the gym with yummy chicken salad sandwiches and lots of yummy treats.

I am so thankful for my wonderful supportive family that they were all able to share this special day with us.

Being a Toursit in my Own Town

A couple weeks ago my sister called and said they were going to to see the sights around temple square and wondered if we would like to join them.  It had been a couple years since we had gone so we thought it might be fun!  We started off at the Joseph Memorial Building where we looked up some names in our family history and got our picture taken.

Then we went up to the viewing deck where we had a beautiful view of the temple.

Then we went to the Joseph Smith movie.  That was amazing!  I hadn't seen it before and really enjoyed it and the kids really enjoyed it too.  I was amazed at how well they sat through it without soda and popcorn!

We then went to the Beehive house which was Brigham Young's home.  That was really neat to walk through and hear some of the stories. 

The afternoon was really a lot of fun and I am so glad that Carla invited us to go along.

Hollywood Connection

Last week Hollywood Connection had a facebook night, and if you were a fan of Hollywood Connection you and your family could get in free. We had a great time. We got there just after 4 and were there until they closed at 9:30. Here are just some of the pictures I took.

After playing for so long we definitely got hungry. So here we are just goofing around waiting for our food.

The whole night was so much fun. We hope we will get to go again soon. And this time hopefully Paul wont have school the same night!

Easter Morning

The kids were very excited for Easter Morning.  Of course they got too much candy but had a ball looking for their baskets and eggs.

We enjoyed the rest of the day by watching Conference and just hanging out.  It was a great Sunday!

Easter Weekend

The Saturday before Easter some of my family go together to have a big Easter lunch and a Easter Egg Hunt for the kids. We had a ton fun and as always the kids had a ton of fun playing with their cousins.

But I would have to say my favorite part of the day was a little later. My sister Carla brought the Wii game Just Dance, and I was laughing so hard that I was crying.

And the Oscar goes to my wonderful, amazing husband Paul!
